What do I earn for each referral?
You are eligible to earn $100 for each customer who signs up for Brightspeed Fiber and remains active for 90 days. All referral bonuses will be awarded through a reloadable Mastercard. The customer will benefit too – they get a $100 virtual prepaid Mastercard.

Does the customer I refer earn a referral bonus?
Yes, the customer that you referred is eligible to receive a $100 virtual Prepaid Mastercard once they have met the qualifying period of 90 days.

What are the eligible products the customer must install for us both to earn a referral?
Customers must install one of the following services and must be a new customer. DSL migrators are also eligible.
• Brightspeed Fiber (XGSPON)
• fQF (GPON)
• Brightspeed Now

How do I enroll in the Brightspeed Referral Rewards Program?
Enroll online at referralrewards.brightspeed.com. You must agree to program terms and conditions to participate. You will be required to set up a profile so that you are properly awarded your referral bonus. If you receive an error when trying to log in please make sure you are using your Brightspeed email. If the error persists, please contact brightspeedrewards@brightspeed.com.

How do I make a referral through the Brightspeed Referral Rewards Program?
Once you complete enrollment you will be taken to your referral dashboard where you can begin sharing. You will have a unique referral code that you can share via email, sms or a by using a QR code.

Is there specific messaging I should use when referring a new customer via SMS/text messaging?
Please use one of the following brand approved messages when using SMS/text messaging.

How can I track my referrals?
You can track your referrals on your referral dashboard after you log in.

When will I receive the reward?
The reward will be sent to you once you have a qualified referral under the program that installs Brightspeed Fiber Internet and has been active for 90 days. You can start making referrals through this program at any time after you enroll. You will receive the reward on a reloadable prepaid card. The prepaid card is mailed to the address you provided during enrollment.

What do I do if I believe I earned a referral bonus, but it is not reflected in my dashboard, or I have not received the reward?
If you feel you should have been awarded a referral bonus and it is not visible within the stats dashboard, please send an email to brightspeedrewards@brightspeed.com.
Please note there is no dedicated customer service queue to assist employees with referral bonus support. -
Is the reward card a credit card?
The reward card is not a credit card, nor is it an extension of credit from Brightspeed. By using the card, you acknowledge that you agree to the cardholder agreement and program terms and conditions.

When can I expect the referral bonuses to be added to my reloadable prepaid card?
When you earn your first referral bonus, you will be sent your physical prepaid Mastercard. Cards typically take 7-10 business days to arrive. For future referral bonuses the value is added to the reloadable card as the customer meets the 90-day eligibility and typically takes 48-72 hours.

How will the reward value be taxed?
Yes, any referral rewards will be taxed on your Brightspeed paycheck and will be reflected on a quarterly basis.
All referrals awarded under the program are taxable to the employee and subject to the applicable federal, state and local income and employment taxes. Employees remain ultimately and solely responsible for their income tax liability and other applicable taxes. The value of the referral bonus will be reported as income and subject to appropriate tax withholdings. The income and tax withholding resulting from a referral will be reported on each employee's paystub for the pay period in which the referral is processed by Brightspeed payroll and Form W-2 for the corresponding year. The referral bonus will be reflected in the Earnings and Other Payment Section of the pay statement. -
How can I check the reward card balance?
Visit MyPrepaidCenter.com and enter the card number or call the number on the back of the card to use the automated system.

How do I report a lost or stolen card?
When you receive the card, you must record the customer service number on the back of the card and the card number itself and keep them in a safe place. Should the card become lost or stolen, you must contact customer service at the number listed on the back of your card or call 1–877–227–0956 immediately.
